Taste of Ann Arbor

Daddy had to work ANOTHER weekend, so mommy took Remi and me on an adventure. We went downtown to the Taste of Ann Arbor Festival. We met up with our friends Charlotte and Mimi, and they brought their mom Ginger with them.

We watched a clown, got funny balloon hats, danced to salsa and big band music, ate yummy Ethiopian food and finished the adventure off with a mini cupcake.

Ok, so clowns are a little bit scary. It took awhile for Charlotte and me to get up the courage to approach the clown

Remi, also curious but concerned about the clown...

Mimi just decided to turn her back and not look at the clown at all

Maybe she's not so scary

and she brought a bunny to pet

Check out my cool hat

and Charlotte's beautiful flower

Who knew I liked Ethiopian food!

Listening to some Salsa music

And of course, the mini cupcakes!

May 30th, 2009

It's hard to believe that mommy and daddy have been married for 5 whole years! Since it was a special day for them, I decided to sleep in on Sunday... Until 6:45am, Remi, or course, didn't get my memo about sleeping in, so she was up at 6!

I greeted daddy with a "happy anniversary," mommy and I have been working on saying that really hard word. Then I decided to take daddy fishing. My interest in that lasted for about 1 1/2 minutes, so then we went golfing, mini golfing. We met up with my buddy Sam and his mom. I got my first hole in one and had a blast hanging out with daddy.

I made sure Remi got with the program for afternoon naps and we both took nice long 2 hour naps. Mom and dad think it was b/c we were trying to be nice to them, but really we were resting up for Elena's big 4th birthday party at the park.

Below are some pics of the fun filled day, ahh, if only all days could end with eating birthday cake!

Preparing for my next putt, these greens were really hard to read!

That's me and the birthday girl rolling down the hill.

I love cake

I REALLY love cake!

Remi was having a rare "off" night, so Elena and I tried to cheer her up.

Trying to catch butterflies with Elena's new net.
