February came and went....

February was a month that came and went... It's a tough month around these parts, as it's dark a lot! But we've pulled through yet another dreary February and have some fun pictures to remember it by.

This is what a typical playdoh "session" looks at our house, for some reason, mama always mutters under her breath when we ask to play with playdoh

Our friend Jack, showing off the beginnings of a great fort he was building. He was even kind enough to let Remi and I help

Yup, this is what Remi is like much of the time we are outside in the snow

I've been working on my snow angel technique, it's getting better!

my ladies...

Yes, those are soldiers attacking a dinosaur... Emiliano had a very creative birthday cake

Remi and her "twin" Regina

Me and my buddy Nicky, being silly as usual

We figured we better take Remi to one Michigan hockey game, and it was a great one, Michigan vs. Ohio, couldn't get much more of a rivalry than that!

Intently watching the game

Remi LOVED the game and enjoyed watching everything!

being silly, once again...

That's me, showing my stuff...

Remi is stuck at the rink quite a bit, she has learned to scour the stands for pucks

someone french braided Rem's hair while she was at Childwatch at the Y, enjoy it, b/c most likely you'll never see it like this again. Mama isn't exactly adept at doing hair...

Remi's 2nd birthday revisited...

Grandma Sue and Grandpa Irwin weren't able to make it for Remi's birthday party, but they swooped in for a 2 day visit the next weekend. We enjoyed hanging out together and we even took grandma to her first Michigan Hockey game!

Grandpa and me "spying" on the table next to us at my favorite restaurant, "the fire restaurant." A Benihana's type place.

using our chopsticks to eat salad

the beating heart made of fried rice, always a table favorite...

Remi's birthday dessert

one happy boy

Remi, downing the dessert like only a birthday girl can!

Mama had made chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting for dessert, of course, we didn't want to make her feel bad, so we ate those as well!

Yum!

even grandma liked them

At the hockey game, grandpa looks like he's having fun. Not so sure about grandma

January Fun

What do you do when you live in Michigan during the month of January??? Stay inside is what you do! We had a really cold month of January and for the most part spent most of the month inside. Mama gets us outside for half an hour day, as long as it's above 10, but with the windchill, those days were few and far between for us... Check out the fun things we did in January to pass the time!

I went to a Michigan Men's Basketball Game, my first one ever. While it was fun, I'd rather be at a hockey game...

Adam was trying to teach me the basketball cheers. Turns out "sieve, sieve, sieve..." isn't such a good basketball cheer.

We hit up Colonial Lanes for a bit of bowling...

even daddy got in on the action

and this was the firs time Remi really got to bowl. She loved it!

Now that I'm 4 1/2, I figure I should learn to bowl like an adult. No more rolling the ball with 2 hands for me!

I got to spend a weekend with our my frog room class mascot... Hoppy. He went everywhere with me that weekend.

Yup, that's me. The superstar in the center of the picture with the blue jersey.

sweet cheeks, looking as sweet as ever!

My buddy Gordy and me, after a tough practice

My friend Nick and I with Hoppy

Hoppy and me at my favorite lunch spot, Leo's!

Obviously Remi had a rough night...

Cookin' bacon for breakfast

There's my smiley sister!

Hoppy and I, takin' a nap together

Mama organized a tour of survival flight for her Mom's group. This is me, sitting in the exact spot that Daddy sits.

Driving the helicopter

Since we were already at the hospital for the tour, we thought we would drop in on daddy!
