After a massive "thunder and lightninging" show in the early AM, the sky cleared and we took Remi for her first picnic in the Arb. It was really hot and humid out, but we played in the river and ate our lunch as the mosquito's dined on us! After nap it was on to the carnival. This was my first real experience with a carnival and let me tell you, it was an experience. There were lots of rides and I loved all of them. I went on my first "forest wheel" (ferris wheel), got to play skee ball, ate pizza and whet on lots of other rides. Remi pretty much just hung out in her stroller trying to catch the eye of anyone by squealing in delight, batting her eyelashes and smiling and then looking away. Mom and dad call her a flirt, I call her trouble...

Remi is now an expert "sitter-upper"
Notice how dirty I am, I had so much fun splashing in the river and then rolling in the dirt.
I'm a bit apprehensive about my first ride. The guy had a GIANT tongue ring which intrigued me to no end!

That's us, "way high in the sky."
As close as daddy will ever become to being a cowboy
Skee ball!
The dinosaur roller coaster. I got to go on it by myself!
