Day of Adventure in Gloucester

While we were at the beach we decided to checkout Halibut State Park. Apparently, daddy had birthday parties there when he was a child, and mommy, after all of her years at the beach, had never been, so... we loaded up the family truckster and headed out to the state park. And don't let the name, Halibut State Park, fool you, it doesn't have much to do with fish, BUT, it does have LOTS to do with climbing rocks. This place was awesome and I now plan to make this a yearly pilgrimage.

After climbing rocks, we were hungry, so we headed to Rockport for hot dogs, fudge, ice cream, more rock climbing, strudel and some penny candy. Then home for nap and while Remi and I were napping, grandpa and daddy went out to get lobsters for dinner and when we woke up from nap, lobsters had invaded the house! They were everywhere. Remi and I loved picking them, moving them around and in general just terrifying them.

The boys and more rocks, gotta love it!

Check out this lobster!

"you see here Remi, this is the claw, don't touch that..."

Remi even got in on the action of toting our favorite shell fish around
