Rosh Hashanah wouldn't be complete without apple picking. We headed out to our favorite apple farm to pick some yummy apples. Remi and I both had a blast climbing the trees and picking apples. It was the first day the orchard was open and we basically had the place to ourselves and the trees were filled with big beautiful apples. Of course, we came home with way to many apples, so mama set to work in the kitchen. Bakes apples, apple bread, apple crisp, apple pies, etc. All frozen in our freezer, ready to be pulled out as soon as an apple craving hits us. Of course, no apple picking trip would be complete without an apple cider donut. I devoured mine and remi basically just licked hers!
Trying to carry our pickings
Remi, of course, couldn't stop picking the apples. Kind of like her daddy...
