Train Restaurant Breakfast...

Well, G&G live right downtown, right next to the train tracks and all day (and several times a night), trains and trolleys would pass by. This by far was my most favoritest thing of the entire trip. I could hear the warning bells of the train stops away and would alert everyone by SCREAMING, "train coming, train coming" and run to the balcony, hallway or window to see the train. While the train was passing I said, "hi train, hi train, hi train," over and over and over until the train had passed. You'd think I would have gotten sick of the trains and trolleys, but nope, I squealed with the same delight on the last day of our trip, just as I did on the first day. Across the street from G&G's is a coffee shop that grandpa nicknamed the train restaurant and grandpa took me there for breakfast twice! I literally got to sit on the patio and watch the trains go by. Unbeknownst to mommy, there is also a store that sells candy and juice on the 2nd floor. Grandpa and I had a little secret going for awhile and then I spilled the beans. Yup, that's right, Grandpa would take me on secret missions to purchase the contraband candy and juice!

San Diego Zoo

We made the trek out to San Diego to visit Grandma Sue and Grandpa Irwin and celebrate my cousin Jayden's 2nd birthday. The CA crew had an action packed itinerary planned for our entire visit and the first stop was the SD Zoo. Thank goodness auntie Lauren was with us, b/c she gave us a great tour of the zoo. My favorit part was seeing the elephants. When the elephants were trying to drink water, I just thought it was the funniest thing around and was laughing and giggling beyond belief. So much so that people were moving to watch ME! Who knew I would be an exhibit at the zoo. Such a great time. Thank you SD crew!

Just a random assortment of photo's taken from the month of October. Sorry the lack of posts as of late,I've just been too busy to get my "work" done. With fall upon and winter barreling towards us, Remi and I have been trying to spend as much time outside as possible.

Early October Candids

Apple Picking 2009

With the evening temperatures creeping down into the 40's, the leaves changing color (and even beginning to fall a bit!) and football season in full swing, we decided to head out to Wasem's Fruit Farm to go apple picking this past weekend. It was my baby sister's first apple picking (although Mommy tells me she has been in utero) - I am, of course, a seasoned veteran having been before I turned one month old. The day was gorgeous - and the apples were awesome! I met my friend Sam there and we each took home 1/2 a bushel of apples (Jonathan, Golden delicious and Empire) and a 1/2 pint of raspberries. Of course, before we left, Daddy and I indulged in cider and cider donuts. You will notice my use of the patented "apple grabber" to pick some apples...
