The Toledo Zoo has an awesome kids section. They have goats (which happened to have been on break while we were there) to feed and groom. A giant play structure, a garden where you can actually garden, different imaginative play scape, a river that is meant to be played and crawled in, an indoor forest, and so much more. After our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and awesome picnic lunch mommy packed us, we headed off to Nature's Neighborhood before heading back to the car where Remi and I both passed out as soon as we were buckled in.
Don't we look silly
Remi hanging out in a honeycomb
Remi and daddy found some bee costumes, so Remi and I both terrorized the indoor forest dressed as bees
We can't quite seem to take any decent pictures together. This may prove challenging for the photographer at Uncle Brandon's wedding.
My little busy bee!
I am Tyler the Turtle at school, so I had to get a pic of me with the turtle
Remi, shroomin' already...
Pullin' up my pants so I can wade in the river
Remi loved the river, she splashed and splashed and did not want to leave
"oh hell, I'm already wet, I might as well just sit down." Luckily mommy prepared for this very thing and brought extra sets of clothing for us
