This is the first year we've been able to make it to the annual touch a truck outing in Ann Arbor, but let me tell you, it was worth the wait. We arrived promptly at 9am and there were so many cool things to climb on and drive that I could barely decide what to do, for a moment, I just sort of stood, overwhelmed with my options. There city and school buses, garbage trucks, police cars, military trucks, combines, moving trucks, firetrucks, dump trucks and the mobile library. The weather was a bit soggy, which probably helped keep away the crowds. I honked horns, pushed buttons and drove so many different trucks, I was dizzy by the end of it all. Remi got in on some of the action. She especially liked the firetruck and the combine.

The combine!!!
Hanging out in the army truck while mommy waited in line at the combine
Our turn!
Daddy was pretty excited to see inside one of these things. For some reason, mama didn't seem so impressed with this machine. Guess she spent too many hours riding with her daddy and grandpa in one as a child
Where's the horn on this John Deere
I loved hanging out in the moving truck. One just like this was across the street from our house the day before.
Driving the mobile library
The garbage truck had 2 steering wheels!
